South Queens Women’s March (SQWM) is excited to announce that we are hosting Rise Up & Lead, our fourth annual summer youth leadership institute this summer 2026, on Mondays and Wednesdays from July 20 through August 12 from 2pm-5pm located at our office at 130-01 Liberty Avenue Unit 1R, Richmond Hill New York, 11419. Our final day in the program, Graduation Day, will be held on on Wednesday, August 12 from 2-5pm. Optional field trips and activities throughout the program will be announced.

This program is tailored for those aged 14-21 if all genders. Youth will learn how to develop leadership skills, including public speaking and grassroots organizing, build self-esteem and mental wellness, promote gender equity and more!

Please note registration is required due to limited space and all participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the program. Participants who have attended all sessions of the program will receive a $125 stipend upon completion.

This program is free but registration is required. Due to seating capacity, we will have to limit registration.
